How to act right so you don't get kicked out.

Welcome to the Function.

Jivve is our space. A place to connect, create, and talk our talk. But like any function, we got rules to keep the vibes right.

Rock with us, and we good. Violate the code, and you're gone. Simple.

Zero Tolerance. No Cap.

We don't do second chances for the messy stuff. If you're on this timing, you're out.

Zero Tolerance For:

  • ×Objectionable content including hate speech, harassment, violence, or illegal activities
  • ×Abusive users who create fake accounts, spam, or harass others
  • ×Content that exploits or endangers children
  • ×Behavior that violates our Community Guidelines or applicable laws

Immediate Consequences:

  • First violation: Content removal and official warning
  • Repeat violations: Account suspension or permanent ban
  • Severe violations: Immediate permanent ban without warning

By creating an account, you acknowledge that violations of these guidelines may result in immediate and permanent account termination.

Don't Bring That Here

Hate Speech & Discrimination

We do not tolerate content that promotes hate, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.

Harassment & Bullying

Do not harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate others. This includes doxxing (sharing private information), stalking, or coordinated harassment campaigns.

Violence & Harm

Content depicting, glorifying, or encouraging violence, self-harm, or harm to others is prohibited. If you're experiencing thoughts of self-harm, please reach out to mental health resources.

Sexual Content & Exploitation

Sexually explicit content, non-consensual intimate imagery, and any content exploiting or sexualizing minors is strictly forbidden.

Misinformation & Spam

Do not spread deliberately false or misleading information, especially regarding health, elections, or emergencies. Spam, scams, and inauthentic behavior are not allowed.

Illegal Activities

Content promoting or facilitating illegal activities, including the sale of drugs, weapons, or other regulated goods, is prohibited.

Impersonation

Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or affiliation in a way that deceives or misleads the community.

Copyright & Intellectual Property

Respect others' intellectual property rights. Do not post content you don't have the right to share.

Reporting Violations

If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it. Every report is reviewed by our moderation team.

To report content:

  1. Tap the three dots (•••) on any post or profile
  2. Select "Report"
  3. Choose the reason for your report
  4. Provide additional context if needed

Find Out (Consequences)

When we find violations of these guidelines, we may take action including:

  • Content removal
  • Warning notifications
  • Temporary account restrictions
  • Permanent account suspension
  • Reporting to law enforcement (for illegal activities)

The severity of the action depends on the nature and frequency of the violation. Repeat violations will result in stricter enforcement.

Appeals Process

If you believe your content or account was actioned by mistake, you can appeal our decision:

  1. Check your notifications for enforcement details
  2. Tap "Appeal this decision"
  3. Explain why you believe the action was incorrect
  4. Wait for review (typically within 48 hours)

Updates to These Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in our platform, community needs, or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app.

Your continued use of Jivve after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
